Ranger mission under Dare. with Sir Hubert Guest, Hogan, Lafayette, Peabody and Digby reaches Venus. First contact with extra-terrestrial life: Atlantines. Treens and Therons.

War between Northern and Southern Venus. Treens launch space borne invasion of Earth.
Defeat of Treens by Earth and Theron forces. The Mekon, ruler of the Treens, flees to Mercury.
Establishment of friendly Treen government under Sondar with permanent presence of Theron forces in North Venus.
Earth-Venus conference establishes the Earth-Venus food supply. Therons become the first extra-Terrestrial members of the U.N. conference. Atlantine reservation rights in North Venus are extended and upheld.
Incident of Crowley's raiders.
Donanza uses the confusion caused by the Treen threat to declare war on Chile.

1997

Hogan and Lafayette are sent on an exploration mission of the Asteroid belt, the extreme limit of Impulse wave effectiveness.
Successful development of fission motors by Spacefleet scientists from orbiting test stations around Mars.
Donanza overthrown by U.N. forces and insurgents at home. He is tried for war crimes and sent to the Luna re-habitation Centre.
Ivor Dare, the archaeologist, delivers a paper proving that ancient Mars lost all its flora and fauna in a matter of days.
U.N. member status conferred on the Treens of Northern Venus. As part of the agreement Atlantines are to be trained by, and admitted into, the Treen Space Service.

1998

Spacefleet SFJ Spacestations established in the orbits of Venus (SFJ1), Earth (SFJ2) and Mars (SFJ3). These stations are interfaces between deep-space craft and short-haul planetary shuttles. They are used primarily for freight and civilian passengers.
Pilot Captain Hogan sees service on the Freighter "Space-Clipper". Pierre Lafayette is put in command of SFJ3 in Mars orbit.
Sondar gives a spaceship he has designed to Dan dare in thanks for his contribution to the overthrow of the Mekon. It is names the Anastasia after Digby’s Aunt.

1999

The Standard (mark 3) spacesuit is introduced by Spacefleet. Included with it as standard issue is the Theron Personal Rocket Motor.
The Red Moon Threat.
First landing on the Planet Mercury and first contact with Mercurians.
Defeat of the Mekon on Mercury.
SJF-Mars is built in Mars orbit to replace SFJ-3 which was destroyed by the Red Moon.
Rotor ships with Fission motors, for long range exploration, are built in Mars orbit.
The first of the new Pegasus class freighter is introduced by Spacefleet for the Earth-Mars-Venus supply routes. These ships are designed to replace the older Neptune’s which had been in service in the Mars fleet since the mid-eighties.
The Ex-Dictator Enrico Donanza makes his bid for world power but is defeated in space by Dare.
The Venus Research Group is renamed the Space Research Council but is still under the control of Professor Sax. Its brief is extended to cover all the planets of the Solar system.

1999-2000

Successful development of the Lockwave Tuner by Dr. Blasco using monatomic hydrogen – an extremely volatile and hitherto unusable element as fuel.
The Tuner makes possible journeys to the outer planets which are unreachable using Impulse Wave technology.
Mission to Saturn space by Blasco and Dare.
Contact and conflict with the Empire of Saturnia. Attempted invasion of the Inner planets by Vora. He is defeated and Tharl is elected president of Saturnia.

Dan and Digby visit North Venus to undertake operation Triceratops.

2001

Defeat and capture of the Mekon on S.F. satellite XQY. The Mekon is imprisoned in the Venus rehabilitation centre, along with Mistag and other Treen criminals.
By this time the Therons guards in Mekonta had stopped carrying arms believing that the Treen population would no longer have the desire for conquest.
The Mekon’s shock troops - the Supertreens – led by the Last Three and located underground in their science laboratories in the lowest levels of Mekonta on Venus, enter the final stages of their work to adhere to the last orders from the Mekon: finish development of the Electrobots.

2002

Space ship – with (apparently) faster than light drive arrives in the solar system from the planet Cryptos in the trinary system of Los (Centauri). Dare, Digby, Cadet Spry and (Sea) Commander Lex O’Malley agree to be transported on the salvaged and hastily repaired alien ship on a mercy mission to Cryptos to help the people defeat their oppressors the Phants. If this mission is undertaken then the deal struck with the alien ‘ambassador’ Lero is that the secrets of the "faster than light" drive will be given to Earth.
Dare and crew set of for the Los system.
The Mekon’s Supertreen forces, supported by his Electrobots invade earth.
King and MacFarlane, testing a Z19, are damaged by Treens and lost in the "Sargasso Sea of Space".

2002 - 2007

Dare and crew are in suspended animation aboard the ship from Cryptos.

2003

After pacification of Earth’s population, the Mekon begins several of his research schemes on the humans (rebuilding ancient cities etc). He builds broadcast magnetic power plants over Earth’s surface to power his vehicle and the Electrobots.
Ambassador Sondar escapes capture by the Mekon but Guest, Peabody, Hogan and LaFayette are caught and transported back to Venus and placed in suspended animation (using Crypteen technology).

2004

The Mekon begins a building programme of Treen bases on Earth and in space including the D/UW underwater bases and the MEK1 Venus Satellite.

2005

All of the Mekon’s bases on earth are completed. After two years on the run ex-ambassador Sondar assumes the identity of a Treen named Sardi and begins to move up the ‘promotional’ ladder within the Treen military hierarchy in his attempt to get closer to the Mekon and free his comrades.

2006

SFU (Space Fleet Underground) formed by ex Space Fleet personnel to resist the Mekon’s rule on Earth and fight as Partisans.

2007

Dare and crew assist the people of Crypos in the removal of the Phants from their home world.

2007 - 2012

Dare and crew are in suspended animation on their return trip to Earth.

2010

The Mekon orders his Treen science laboratories to develop a more development of the Electrobots: the "super Electrobots" or Selectrobots. These are to be powered from a satellite relay in orbit around Venus.

2012

Dare and crew find the Earth ravaged by ten years of Treen rule under the Mekon.
During an escape from the Mekon, Dan dare finds King and MacFarlane, lost in the "Sargasso Sea of Space".
Dare and Guest crash land on Venus in the Anastasia.
Earth freed from rule of the Mekon and his robots. Electrobots destroyed. Surviving Selectrobots reprogrammed and powered by reconfigured Treen broadcast stations on Earth and put to work rebuilding.
Phoenix Mission is launched to recover damaged vessels from the "Sargasso Sea of Space"

2013

Major-One – Earth-Moon transfer satellite in orbit at Lagrange point refurbished and enlarged after being under Treen control.
Sondar becomes Governor of Venus.
After the recent attacks, part of the refurbishment includes the building of a new defence system around Earth by the UN. This includes the outer perimeter protected by fighter fleets operating from stations like the I.Q.X and it’s contemporaries inside the (Solar) orbit of Mars, and missile battery Robot Satellites outside the Lunar orbit of Earth (at around 500,000 miles).

2015

Flamer Spry’s last term at Astral (which he rejoined in 2013 after his return). Dare, assisted by Digby, is acting as part of an inspection team assisting in the recovery of facilities at Lunar Base.
Arrival of the Cosmobe Fleet, pursued by the Pescod fleet.
Explosion and undersea eruption of Krakatao which destroys the Pescod Fleet

2016

Cosmobes given freedom to form colonies in Earths oceans

2017

Dare and crew kidnapped by MacHoo
Exploration of planet Terra Nova onboard the Galactic Galleon
SPA1 Radio Telescope launced into Earth Orbit

2019

"Robocrabs" invade Earth. With Commander O’Malley’s assistance the creatures are located and Dare and Digby use the Zylbat to rendezvous with the Robocrab’s mothership.

2021

Space Fleet introduce the Mk 4 Space Suit, along with other uniform changes

2022

Improved MacHoo (photonic) drive installed aboard Nimbus One and subsequent craft.

First exploration of the moons of Jupiter
